Before you facepalm, SAF deployed him as one aswell Razz

Basically every coach has done since his injury, he is useless there but tbh he is no better as a CF these days either he is just all round useless.

At Man United, the anwer would have to be Wayne Rooney. Why do we play him? I have no idea.

He is clearly a potato. Ferguson is a great manager, but why is he playing an angry vegetable?

That's the other problem: his anger. Until Rooney is able to find peace within himself, I struggle to see where he would fit in. Peace in the soul is the route to eternal happiness. The sooner Wayne realises this plainly obvious fact, the better.
