Re: Loan Watch Thread
Arsenal defender Pedro Botelho is in hot water in Spain after driving into a police car.
Botelho, on-loan at Rayo Vallecano, was arrested by police officers in Madrid during the early hours of Monday morning, reports the Daily Mail.
It is alleged that when reversing his car the Brazilian collided with a police vehicle before speeding off.
However, police officers stopped him minutes later where he failed an ensuing breathalyser test. It is also understood to that he does not hold the appropriate licence to drive in Spain.
The incident has left Botelho’s long-term future with Arsenal in serious doubt. Gunners officials will make a decision on his future after Spanish police have conducted their investigation.
Botelho later went on Cadena Ser to apologise for his behaviour: "It's tainted the name of Rayo Vallecano."
Hope he doesn't end up like Bendtner...

Hajrovic, 18, joined the Gunners from from Grasshoppers Zurich in 2009 and Arsene Wenger now wants him to gain some regular first-team experience in League Two.
The promising young defender was part of the Swiss side that won the Under-17 World Cup in 2009.

Lovely goal by Wolves - Frimpong beat 2 players by flicking ball over his head Gazza style before Kightly beat Clark and curled into corner. (via @TimNash1 )

Re: Loan Watch Thread
Frimpong update:
Emmanuel Frimpong will undergo further assessment on the eye injury which saw him stretchered off against Aston Villa this afternoon.
The on-loan midfielder went straight to hospital for initial assessment on the injury where an initial examination revealed no head or spinal problems.
However, the 20-year-old has a severe swelling around his eye and will need further examination to discover the extent of the problem.
"I can't remember too much about it to be honest," said Frimpong.
"I remember heading the ball and from what I heard I then got a kick in the face.
"We'll just have to give it a couple of days and wait for it to settle down."
Frimpong was able to return to Molineux after the game following the trip to hospital.
