Can we bring him back and loan him out a EPL team? I really want to see him what he can do for us.

Re: Loan Watch Thread
Blame FIFA for not granting him a work permit when we were promised he'd get one.
It's probably better this way, though. He can get minutes on the pitch and develop that way instead of playing in our reserves.

Its sad, because if he had got a work permit i think hed be in our first team by now, after all chambo and wilshere did at 18 years old, wellington is 19 now. No way a talent like him would be kept in the reserves
But you cant really blame fifa, after he agreed to join us he fell out with his coach in brazil and didnt play for months, you cant really give a special work permit to someone that hardly played at all no matter how talented they may be

Re: Loan Watch Thread
Pretty sure there've been players who have barely played but have still gotten special talent permits.
Bar the odd cup appearance I can't see how he'd break into the first team at the moment. His small stature would prevent him from playing up front while we were covered in the wing positions.

yes,you need to have a NT app to get a permit.
Neymar for example could have gotten it at the same age

Re: Loan Watch Thread
On Ryo, I see him being part of the first-team squad next season. Not sure about you guys.
Next season we could have these options on wing -
Chamberlain
Gervinho
Podolski
Walcott
Ryo
Would be great strength in depth.

Arsenal youngster hails Bolton education
Ryo Miyaichi is enjoying his time on loan at the Lancashire club, gaining Premier League experience
Arsenal loanee Ryo Miyachi has hailed his loan move to Bolton Wanderers as a great learning experience.
The Japanese starlet was playing on the right hand side for the first time in the Premier League and he set up the winner for the Trotters against QPR, lifting the Lancashire club out of the relegation zone at the R’s expense.
“It was my first time to play on the right in a Premier League game,” he said, “and it was a huge experience.
“I wasn’t able to go behind the defender but I discovered elements of my game which I can improve on so I’m looking forward to the next match now.
“If I’m on the left-hand side, I can run inside and take a shot as well. I find it more difficult to come inside from the right. I’m determined to try to work harder and widen the variety of my play.”
Ryo revealed he was taking advice from more seasoned pros such as former West Ham midfielder Nigel Reo-Coker.
“I wanted to do something on my own, but I often couldn’t,” he added.
“Nigel told me that all the QPR players are wary because of my pace, so what I need is to use my team-mates to my benefit. That was his advice.”
“I want to try to broaden my playing style and be able to play on both sides. However, it’s easier said than done and I always try to take the opponents on.
“But I know that I sometimes need to hold my desire to do so, and try to contribute to the team”.
Despite early successes, including a goal for Bolton in the FA Cup against Millwall, Ryo believes he is still learning.
“Getting used to Premier League football is the biggest change for me, especially, the experience playing against Chelsea and Manchester City.
“Those games gave me confidence but in the same time, I felt that I need to improve my game more and more.”

Funny to see him doing so well since it's a startling contrast to his performance against Olympiacos (obviously he was put on the spot unprepared but...)

Re: Loan Watch Thread
Miyaichi only had one opportunity to really make use of that pace and dribbling ability of his. A lot of the time Bolton were on the back foot and Miyaichi looked a bit caught out between doubling up with Ricketts on Bale or staying higher up in hopes his team can counter. So opportunities for him to run at Assou-Ekotto were very rare.
He used the ball well, though. Played some accurate passes inside and one really good corner that Boyata unfortunately punted over the bar.
I trust Bolton with his development, but I don't think a winger like him is suited to playing on his natural side. Sounds strange, but he's not that sort of wide man. He likes to cut inside and either get a shot away or play a pass, and he isn't particularly adept at crossing the ball (though the quality of his corners would suggest otherwise).
With Martin Petrov there though it's hard to see him playing on his preferred side too many times. Eagles likes to play on the left, too, and they've just sighed Greg Wylde, another left winger.
