According to reports in the Spanish press, Arsenal are set to sign a ‘collaborative agreement’ with Real Betis which would see the La Liga side take a number of young Gunners on loan.

Relations between the clubs have been strengthened in recent months with Joel Campbell enjoying a successful season, and last month talks were mooted to extend that loan into next season as well.

Betis manager Pepe Mel, and club president, Miguel Guillén, will travel to London to start negotiations with the Gunners to London to discuss that issue, and although no formal agreement has been signed yet, it is suggested that Arsene Wenger will provide a list of players available to the Spanish side for the 2013-14 season.

The link-up would allow Arsenal to send young, promising players on loan to develop, rather than as a last resort move for senior players who are surplus to requirements, and candidates for next season might include Ryo Miyaichi, Thomas Eisfeld and Serge Gnabry.

Joel Campbell on Spanish radio on Wednesday morning ahead of weekend's crucial derby:

"The game [Sevilla] is important for the team and the city. It's my dream to be able to play in this type of game"

"These games are different. It doesn't matter if one team's in first place and the other is in 20th. Both teams will give 100%".

"The team the makes less mistakes will win. We have to keep concentrated and enjoy ourselves. There's no need for excessive pressure".

"We're buzzing for this. It'll be hard, as both teams want to get a European spot. We have to come out like winners."

"If we win, we can keep this fight for a European place going."

"When we beat Sevilla in this derby 2-1, courtesy of Benat's goals - I've seen this several times on DVD to motivate me for the game".

La Liga fight for 4th and positions of both Betis & Sevilla in table:

4) Sociedad 51pts
5) Valencia 49pts
6) Malaga 47pts
7) Betis 47pts
-------
10) Sevilla 41pts

Sevilla's won one away game in La Liga all season. Derby or not, it's fair to say they'll be in for a tough night on Friday.

Campbell, if he plays RW, will be up against Alberto Moreno. Moreno's a young full back converted from a winger so he's not great defensively. I'd fancy Campbell to have the beating of him. If he plays LW, then he'd be up against Coke, who's not anything special; solid at best.

There's a good opportunity for him to have a good game, even if I don't want him to, for Sevilla's sake.

Yep. Our only loanee who is playing for a big(ish) club, starting every single game, is a fan favourite and is as good as Oxlade atm if not better.

Will make it if we get a work permit.

we won't have a problem with the work permit, he is already a big part of the NT and played for two European clubs.

Juve should sign Bendtner permanentaly to be the first choice striker (Llorente #2). They won't need Jovetic eithyer because Bendtner is so good he can play second striker when Llorente needs game time.

More like Nicklas Bossner Proud
