How do you not get sent off for this?

Seriously....Madrid played pretty good today but we also saw their familiar side many times(it's part of their game to be dirty against barca players)

Valdes touched the ball and he was given a yellow, Khedira doesn't touch it and is not even booked.
He deserved a yellow for that, which would have resulted in him being sent off rightfully.

Not even a foul was given for Valdez' attemted murder on the Copenhagen striker. Khedira's foot was high and deserved a yellow, nothing more nothing less, from a different angle it was clear his foot only brushed the side of Abidal's head, he immediately to apologised and even called the attention of the referee. I think you're only making a storm in a teacup.

biased? no.

if khedira deserved a yellow for dangerous play, valdes deserved a straight red. Last defender on a counter that would have left the attacker on one on one? the keeper out of his box completely knocks out the forward with ridiculously dangerous play? that's a straight red.

Conclusion:

Until Khedira kills someone, or ends his football career, he doesn't deserve a Red.. u know we are playing wrestling/rugby etc.. its not football " according madrid fans" What a joke!!

It's funny that you think since he barley touched him he doesn't deserve a card. Valdes barley touched CRon and you guys are yelling and screaming about it.

Not to mention it looked like Khedira's job out there was to kick as many players as possible for as long as he could get away with it. Thats why Mou took him off with 30 min to go because he knew he cheated for as long as he possibly could before even this awful ref was going to send him off.

PS. Valdes deserved a card for impeding Ronaldo, and Khedira should have been sent off in the first half. Also, Pedro deserved a PK as well.

I thought the ref was bad for both sides, but to sit here and say Khedira didn't deserve a card for that play is just homerism and crazy.

Meh, ref was okay, tho. Not so sure why ppl compare Valdez kick to Khediras one, when Khedira saw the mistake he made and quickly apologised. Valdez on the other hand Knocked him out ran back to his goal, acting like nothing happend. Smh.

Of course he said he was sorry, he was trying not to get sent off. What did you think he was going to do, spit in his face while he was rolling on the ground?

The fact that he said sorry doesn't take anything away from the challenge. If someone ran your mother over with a car by accident and said sorry that doesn't make what they did any better now does it? She still got run over by a car, right?

You are wrong. Valdes touched the ball, but with dangerous play, hence a yellow card. The Copenhaguen forward didn't have the ball controlled, and he arrived late, no goal scoring chance, no red card. Khedira does a dangerous play without touching the ball, also a yellow card. Khedira should have been sent off for 2 yellows, and you all know it.

I did not even bother to read about their complains...nothing but noise...They should just buy wrestlers from the WWE, probably cheaper and more effective for their style...they should even hire these WWE superstars for their whining and trashtalking too, more efficient and entertaining than what they have in madrid right now
