Is effectively like having nobody on the pitch in his position.
I was thinking a good tatic would be to deploy him as a kamikaze i.e against a team with a standout player, simply have him injure the player and get sent off, no loss on our part.

Wouldn't be hard against the gunners, RVP breaks like a twig.
TBH, I would rather we play Kakuta over him. leave Kalou on the bench and Force him out.

Yeah, i'd much prefer to have Kakuta starting over him or anybody really that can "assist" in attack, Torres was killer last night but had 0 assistance, creating a 1 man attack.

Kalou should stick to FA and Carling.

He is currently out with suspension.
He'll be back after 2 more games.

Spuds will not take Kalou because of his wages, unless he takes a pay cut.
The reason why Anelka, Malouda, and Kalou is still on the squad is because of their heavy wages, no club wants to take them on.
Fact: Kalou makes more then Modric, if he joins Spuds he would be their highest paid player.

What a joke, if you didn't dislike the guy already then today will show you what a truly horrid player he is. Not only can he not play his position but he gives away stupid penalties. Cost us a pretty cruisy group stage in which we could've given some experience to younger players etc. I am well disgusted with him.

Yes, I saw Drogba warming up and smiled a little, then I see Kalou coming on and felt sick
Props to Valencia though they played well, but I felt we deserved to win in terms of clear cut chances saved by a freak keeper.
