Father of Chelsea's Mikel John Obi suspected victim of kidnapping

Anyone heard the story ( I dunno if it's true) that happened decades ago during the Soviet Union era that some Soviet diplomats were kidnapped by a terrorist organization in North Africa and the terrorists cut off one finger from each diplomat and sent them to the Soviet Union, demanding ransom or they would kill those diplomats? And the Soviet leaders told their Special Forces or whatever it was back then to find out what terrorist organization it was and who were those terrorists and then the Soviet forces went and got many of their family members and relatives, killed some of them and sent their heads to the terrorists with a note saying that if they didn't release the diplomats immediately, they'd kill the rest of their family members and the diplomats were released.

That story came to my mind.

Thank god, felt bad for the guy, glad they found his father.

He was recently in my prayers as I am thankful to God that John Obi's father has been returned.

Wow this is just crazy, never heard of it and try to Google it nothing came up, it could be true.

they don't have anyone in custody and if they did its not the kidnappers...I'm pretty sure obi paid off the ransom, it was pretty low at about $200k which was there starting price...which u can usually lower to atleast 1/4
