Yo for every other classroom user, I've found a solution: disable images loading in your browser.

Hardly ideal, but it works.

but i use chrome now because its easier to load

when merging threads the original TS dont get the credit on the thread. titles and TS name goes to the one who made the duplicate thread.

Click the toolbar on the top right -- Options -- Under the hood -- Content Settings -- Images.
