Parma - never in the world a club got player for free and sold for 8 mil 1 and half month later
Also, we might get relegated

saved 33M a year on wages on deadwood players which weren't needed....strengthened places that needed strengthening (ST, LB, WING, CB) and lowered the wage bill. also ruined another player's career by sending him to Chelsea
we had a good window, not the best,,,,but a great one in getting rid of garbage and buying youngm hungry players with quality in

Had a fairly decent window but still weren't able to sign that creative midfielder we're desperately lacking unfortunately.
Man City, Bayern, Stoke and Roma had the best campaigns I think.

In Italy:
Roma did the best. Juventus spent a lot for quantity. Napoli did very well. Inter was pitiful. Milan really didn't need to do much, and they didn't.
Palermo sold every valuable player. Tied with Udinese for the worst.

I think if we bought good ball playing centerback we would be in with a shout.
It is very hard to improve Barca, but Sanchez and Cesc obviously on paper do that.

Re: Which team had the best transfer campaign? (on paper)
City had the best one in my opinion. Aguero, Clichy, and Nasri are top class signings, plus they got rid of some unneeded players such as Santa Cruz and Wright-Philipps, and held onto Tevez. Awesome market for City.
Barca and Juve also both had great markets as well. Barca bringing in Sanchez and Fabregas cannot be overlooked, and while Juve didnt bring in any HUGE names, we plugged all the holes, and formed a squad that can go from a 7th place disaster finish last season to a possible Scudetto.

Re: Which team had the best transfer campaign? (on paper)
We had a pretty good transfer window easily our best window in years.Got rid of all the deadwoods costing nearly 30mil every year in a single window. So no complaints really.
As for the best easily Barca imo.Signed 2 world class players which improved their squad tremendously.I dont think any other team have strengthened as much as Barca this year tbh.

Plus 10m to think about it.
Meireles is worth 10m + Sturridge and McEachran?
He isn't even worth a Sturridge
