I remember Bianchi praising Messi to be already better than Maradona and Pele. And things are finally looking great in national team.

- Messi is already Argentina 4. top scorer, only 6 from Maradona, 7 from Crespo.

- Has scored in 6 consecutive matches, a record.

- Under Sabella 11+5@11 matches, and in 2012 9+1@5 matches including first hat-trick against Brazil in 30 years.

- Argentina record under Sabella 9W 1D 1L in 11 games.

Messis huge strength is his extreme efficiency. He can play like crap the whole game for example, but if he gets a chance or sees an opening well boy its going in 95% of the time

You can stop messi only using karate skills. But he just thought it doesnt worth to fight against them. not a big match and not the most important game

^ Yeah, you have to choose your fights. There is no point to kill yourself in every game, when the whole team is struggling. Argentina is still on top of the most competitive and even of WCQ-groups, and that is the main thing.

Those two games in two games will definately disadvantage him in terms of resting for the game against Getafe. We really need him to be on his game especially with our terrible away record...

The only full season when Hugo Sotil played in Barca, alongside with Cruyff, Barca won La Liga first time in 14 seasons. And it took 11 seasons after that to win it again. Not bad. :bow:
