His greatest skill is on team building, motivation, chemistry, and before the match planning. His actual tactics and subs are not as good as his other skills.

I'll admit he might not be what he was in 2008 or so, but...if that's natural. He's getting old. He will start declining around this time, but he's not really declining much.

Xavi is going to have a slow decline as long as he's injury free. If you watch Xavi though...you'll know how much he's contributing despite how little it may seem like. Fantastic player, no he's not declining lol

At least wait a little bit before having this type of reaction...

league titles, champions league, cups, WORD CUP all in 3-4 years..i can see him relaxing a bit now, i dont think his on a decline just yet..age is just a number his work rate last year proves it.

I love it, every time this season when Barca has drawed (four times now and every time 2-2, what thats all about?), anyway, it's somebodys or somethings reign coming to end, be it Barcas or Xavis or whatevers. We are doomed.

He's getting slower.

He was never the player who would score a lot, or dribble past 2/3 players. He just does what he needs to do best: Keep possession, control the tempo, make space with a quick turn and look for a pass. He is still the same player imo, he just needs other players to score like Messi or Villa.

I know i'm going to get alot of slack for this, but it's harder to get the ball off Xavi than Messi.

Anyone got his passing stats for the Milan and Osasuna games. I thought he was exceptionally good.

Brilliant against Milan,brilliant against Osasuna and yet he is supposedly on a decline.Still by far the best midfielder on the planet.
Xavi will dominate 99 matches out of 100.The 100th just happen to be Valencia.
Valencia are his Achilles heel.He struggles against them and as a result Barca too struggle.
