Re: If you woke up as an oiled Arab
Stade de Reims
Coach: Montanier
-------------------Akinfeev
Corchia-------Sakho-----Varane----Sandro
---------------------Fofana
--------------Pogba--------M'Vila
------Hazard----------------------Ribery
---------------------Falcao
Trying to keep it as realistic as possible with what I believe would be attainable targets, I would get the team up into first division and assemble a team like this.

Re: If you woke up as an oiled Arab
Buy Man City.
Sell all their players, make 400 million and then sell the club.
All in one month [ January ].

An oiled up Arab you say?
Any Spanish team other than Barca or Madrid
Probably Atletico or Valencia. They just need that financial backing to take them to the next level

I agree. I don't understand why the millionaris have bought Racing, Getafe or Malaga instead of Atletico and Valencia. Both Clubs are in deep debt and have much bigger potential than that of Racing, Getafe or Malaga to become a powerhouse.

I would buy Stoke and Dinamo Zagreb.
Considering the avenue where Stoke plays (guaranteed win) I wouldnt have to invest money on players, i'd just make the stadium creepier

Re: If you woke up as an oiled Arab
FC Porto
first thing id do is sign Hulk onto a 10yr contract with a 1billion euro buyout and give him higher wages then eto'o
my coach would be Dider Deschamps
and id invest even more money into that porto youth academy which is pumping out so many gun players and fortify the solid core of hulk, rolando, james etc
CL here we come!

Málaga would have been awesome.
I'd buy the 49% of Dortmund and pay off its stadium.

Damn Punkfusion took the club I would have bought. Sigh, fine. Second option, Leeds United and if that doesn't work out, Real Sociedad...

AFC Wimbeldon.....
just liked Wimbeldon from the 90s-early 20s.....hated what happened to them...and their newly formed teams has done pretty good in the last 7 years...raising the ranks pretty quickly

Re: If you woke up as an oiled Arab
I'm thinking Newcastle. Already a very popular club locally (average attendance around 50k, I believe?). Commercial revenue has lots of room for upgrades.
Nottingham Forest would be interesting as well.

Re: If you woke up as an oiled Arab
Since many have chosen Leeds United i would choose Napoli..Already a great team ,Passionate supporters ,a big stadium and if i manage to sign some stars the stadium will be full week in week out so i would earn some healthy ticket revenue as well also i can attract some of the best players in the world with relative ease cuz of the prestige of the club..
My team would be like this..
Pretty beastly team.. :king:

Re: If you woke up as an oiled Arab
Well, no chance to buy any German team due to the 50+1 rule. Although RWO actually made fun of the trend of sheikhs to buy football teams nowadays:

Re: If you woke up as an oiled Arab
I would buy my local team, of course. Make them into a local powerhouse and create some respect for my country.
An atleti fan. How quaint. You should post more.

Re: If you woke up as an oiled Arab
I would buy my beloved wisla!!! They have a brand new stadium. I would pump money into the youth academy to make it much much better! Invest money into players and build the clubs repuation in Europe so I could attract big players!
I would also buy 49% of borrusia Dortmund, because its my favorite team outside of Wisla!
