Great to see our section growing

With all thats been going on with our club atm with the bad results and what have you I just wanted to say it's great to see our section growing every matchday thread has being getting past 60 or so posts (sometimes more) this would have never have happened on the old forums. Big thumbs up to all you guys keep up the good work

how long have you guys been posting here?

i've been posting on the EA forums since 08, but there's only been at most 4 regular posters there since then, and they've all come and go

The old goal forums was there for a few years I believe, I decided to come here afterwards, it's very good to the section growing and hopefully it grows more. I'm certain there are more readers lurking out there, who one day will join me.

Only a few months..

i can get maybe 3-4 more roma fans from EA to register here. 2 of them are new to EA though. so no offense, but i'm not sure if they're the serious type or if they just bandwagoned because of our new signings

The more, the marrier

This group of posters, along with a lot of guys from others clubs have been posting together for going on 3 years now.

I began posting on the original Goal.com forums back in January 09. I was the only active Romanista before Checazzofai joined up. If was us two for a long time before Flames joined up, then I recruited Fonz(originally DJForzaRoma) from the Goal.com main page comment sections...then guys like Metin, Narbez and erPupone (then known as ForzaRoma16), joined up when the forum moved to Vbull.

what happened to the goal.com forums? never realized they have (or used to) have one

We should also include Sciacca he's a closet Roma fan..

Although Roma is not my favorite team, I admire them and they are my second favorite. I will defend them any time and anywhere.

I'm not quite sure, but they decided to close it down for some comment board thing, when the forum changed here, I was not lurking much, so the story to me is some what unknown

I've been posting with these guys for quite a while, I don't remember when I started exactly. I know I was on the old, old forum when I think Benny and Neal were the only Roma fans there. I only posted a couple times, got into a fight with an idiot and left. I came back around a year and a half ago, maybe two years (early Ranieri era) and very glad I did.

Oh Giancarlo, uff don't get me started with that guy. According to him I was the real troll, but even when he came back here... He tried too stop, but got banned. Funny, the true troll was him. I don't know how many times that guy insulted, Juve, Me and the players. But hey, maybe with you he was less aggressive lol

He refused to accept the fact that Milan needed a great defender to be able to challenge for anything (this was before Thiago Silva) and I was right. Then he started insulting Roma and I just had enough of it. People eventually started trolling him which was too funny.

Yeah, we banned him a couple of months ago.

Real drama that whole debacle was...gives me a headache just remembering it all.

I remember when Mclewis was holding the Roma section together by himself...now look at it.

hehe these trolls, you find them in any forum and everywhere around the internet. Very normal and common I presume, good that he is gone. I noticed that Camurria fellow with 25%, but I've seen some of his posts on this section, dosen't seem to be a bad fella.

I just want to be certain, is there any current trolls to look out for? And any from the past in this section?

In this section we dont really get many trolls, Camurrias a good guy im not sure why hes at 25%, of course if you go into the general section that place is full of trolls its pretty funny

Id have to say the Inter section has a lot of trolls but I find it pretty funny when they troll Juve or Milan fans.

Oh I see, when lurking the forums in the past, that crointer fella was somewhat of a nussence, but I find some of his posts quite humurous, I don't think he has a problem with Roma, as I yet to see any posts from him in this section. But I think it's for the best if we keep it that way
