I'd love to have Diarra on our team.

Desperate? I rate Diarra higher than Flamini.

LOL of course. I like flamini and I've always wanted him to do great things for us but he never really made a big mark. I wish him a speedy recovery though.

2 days to go and it doesn't even look like we're going to get kaka either, this has to be our worst transfer campaign ever since i don't know!, the 90s????...
we should totally forget about CL and focus on keeping scudetto instead, inter just made a couple of good signings in forlan and poli and they also few promising yougsters in their sequad, they could pose a real threat along with roma who have a very strong team on paper.....

(1) come on big fella..remember the summer we sold Kaka & Gourcuff.. Remember who we got that summer. Huntelaar and ..Leonardo...
(2) a bit sad to admit that early in the season, but yeah, i agree with you. With just Aquilani-Mexes-Taiwo,you don't win the CL..I think they will improve us for sure, but they aren't enough unfortunately. If we bought Sweini and Kaka ,then we could talk about it.

The summer we got Huntelaar we added Silva, he wasn't eligible to play until June because of the Non EU slots but he was registered in June of 2009 and we also got the one and only ABATE

So we sign one of France's captains and a cult hero of Roma FOR FREE
We sign a hotly contested, freakishly athletic Nigerian left back FOR FREE
We sign the next big Italian talent who is drawing astounding comparisons to Kaka
And we sign an Italy international who has played for the likes of Roma, Liverpool and Juventus
And we only spent 10m
And you're saying this is our worst mercato in 20 years?

I'm really irritated at the fact that we let Poli go to Inter, hopefully we can surprise everyone with a shock signing of Montolivo at the end of the transfer campaign, but I don't know what will happen. Genoa have reviled that we have struck a deal with them for January, but no details have been put forward, or which direction any player is moving in.

You probably forgot 2007(Emerson), and 2009 (Guch and Huntelaar). But yeh, I agree this is not what we were promised at the beginnig.
But anyway cheers and FORZA MILAN

I really don't understand the hype around Poli
You guys won't be missing Poli when El Shaarawy eats him alive in the Derby Della Madonnina for the next 10 years

Re: Mercato Rossonero: Milan Transfer Activity Inside Out
AC Milan are racing to find a midfield replacement for injured Mathieu Flamini, and the answer could lie in Sampdoria's Fernando Tissone, his agent has confirmed.
The champions are desperate to add to their squad as a knee ligament injury, which required surgery, has forced the Frenchman out of action for at least six months.
Coach Massimiliano Allegri and CEO Adriano Galliani are looking at a rescue plan, and Tissone's father and agent believes something could happen from now until the end of the transfer window.
"I know the Rossoneri are looking at the evantuality to bring in Tissone, even on loan," Lino Omar Tissone told Calciomercato.it.
"We will see what happens from now until Wednesday. The transfer market [in Italy] closes at 19:00CET.
"It would be an honour for us [to join Milan]. Tissone knows Antonio Cassano as they played together at Sampdoria."
However, interest in not just confined to San Siro, rather, it is wide-ranging and pan-European.
"Roma and other foreign clubs are also keen," the agent concluded.
Sampdoria were relegated to Serie B after a disappointing campaign last term. Milan have also been linked with Barcelona's Seydou Keita as a replacement for Flamini.
