TBH, Drogba has been crap this season. You should be more worried about Torres.

no, drogba is finished. the last time drogba played against us we beat them 3-1, im way more scared of torres now. but then again we have the defenders to stop torres. kosienly loves facing non-physical players like torres.

Yeah, I'd rather face Torres than Drogba no matter what the form is. Excited to hear that Terry may miss the match.

Chelsea is a hard team to play no mater who is starting for them, getting a point would be good result for us. I watched them play with 9 men and they were dominating QPR.

We should be fine I believe in our guys to put up a good fight and a good result, I hope RVP gets on the score sheet.

we thrashed them with Drogba last year.... :coffee:

they've got new toys though (mata, sturridge, luiz, torres, etc.) and a new tactician so that's the difference. Defensively, im just worried about Djourou at RB against mata. and if walcott doesnt produce, then i'll think we'll be seeing more of Chambo

I heard Mata wasn't playing, could be wrong. Drogba's obviously out, and I'm not sure about Terry. We should be able to grab a draw if we play our guts out.

My only fear is Mata due to an out of position Djourou. Gonna have to use that physique on him cuz skill wise he will get raped.

Kos will eat Torres for breakfast.

Drogba has been crap all season, nor would he have started anyways.

Terry is not suspended, and Mata is fit for the game. Also Torres would be available, and Ramires should be back from injury too.

We hammered Chelsea at Emirates last year with Drogba starting, though he did score against us in 2-0 win at Bridge.

So it's good news that Drogba will be out but Torres will be fresh after his 3 game ban.

it will be a hard game, i dont think we will win, honestly.

Torres is nearly back
Ramires is having a great season
their defence is usually very solid n hard to break
etc etc

I wont mind a draw because after chelsea we have 4 games in which we should be able to pick up max points.

get a good draw and that will be it

A Chelsea without Drogba is more like a psychological advantage for Arsenal players, defenders in particular.

Yes, Torres is back scoring but for me the key player will be Juan Mata against Djouru (most inconsistent player atm)

Koscielny is a beast at CB, but for this game I'd rather have him at RB.

Djourou just seems a bit too slow for my liking, and if Sturridge flips over to the left flank, he'll be too quick for him.

Imagine what confidence it would give our players. A win would change our season because we would definitely win the next four games.

Anyone but Djourou at RB:facepalm:. I know this may sound crazy but can we put Emmanuel Frimpong at RB for one game?

Actually Frimpong doesn't sound crazy though Djourou's main problem at RB is not participating in the offense, I don't see Frimpong doing that either.

It will be hard for Mata to go through Frimpong he will boss him around.

Last season beating Chelsea and City boosted our confidence for the title.
