Hopkins?

Hes 49 years old lol

But read the link, he used to be a nightmare. In his prime, one of the best middleweights ever. He doesnt fight at middleweight anymore, but he says he can go down there.

Hopkins is one of my favourites..... in his prime as Dani said he was legitimately World Class and arguably the best probably.

He has aged very well as well due to his overall fitness and style.

Not sure he should be fighting Floyd though lol.

Yeah, I mean he was middleweight Champ for more than a decade, 20 something fights. Which is a record.

As mole said, aged very well but he no longer fights at middle. He says he can get down to 160 though.

Either way, it would probably be a pretty dull fight because Floyd dont have the power to KO him and while Hopkins is alot more offensive now than his prime, it would be 12 round chess match. For sure no knock downs, you cant tag Floyd to knock him down and he clearly cant take a punch as shown vs Mosely and Cotto..and Hopkins never been stopped or KO'ed and he has been down I think 3 times, all after 45 years of age.

disgusting refereeing, tony weeks has lost all the respect he has ever gained

it seems like the fight was rigged honestly, garcia shouldve been disqualified, taking one point away at the very end after 20 or so low blows is very suspcious for me. It seems as though they wanted to wait until the fight was over to take away a point for it so it seems like Weeks was doing a fair job.

Just about every other referee would have taken a point off by the 2nd 3rd or 4th rounds and disqualified him from the bout if it happened again after that.

Its funny when you rewatch a fight fresh, some time after the first one you saw live.

I just got done watching Pacman-Bradley again, this time without HBO commentary (some Russian one on youtube I obviously didnt understand)

Scoring it round by round I had it a much closer fight this time, 6-5 to Bradley with 1 round even. One of the Bradley rounds was very close, maybe even.

Surprising, but thats what I saw. Some of the rounds Bradley stole simply by being more active and that activity leading to an extra 2-3 cleaner shots landing.

I didnt realise the first time how wild Pacman was when throwing combinations, many of them missing completely.

Good eye, the majority of people did not and I even had Pacman winning it. But tbh, part of that could of been it was like 5am and other than Roy Jones, HBO never believe Pacman lost anything ever.

Rigondeaux is set to fight Joseph Agbeko in December. I don't know much about Agbeko but he's supposedly an action fighter.

Good to see Rigo get a fight again after HBO blackballing him for his style

Didnt see it, had football this morning and had to get an early night.

But im hardly surprised, Chavez is such a limited fighter and had to make it a 10 round fight because of his shitty conditioning/work ethic.

I see Vera landed more power shots, landed over 50 punches more total and threw more than twice as many.

Chavez - Vera was either a draw or a win for Vera in my eyes. Vera was much more active but Chavez got the cleaner shots off. He landed some big ones on Vera, but Vera didn't quit. Top Rank wouldn't let Chavez take a loss to Vera, the fix was definitely in.

Adonis Stevenson dominated Tavoris Cloud before that as well. He's emerging as the man at Light Heavyweight.

Also, I heard Alexander - Khan is off because Khan is being prepped for a fight with Mayweather and doesn't want to risk losing before that happens...

Khan will cause Mayweather more problems than Canelo did tbh.

Has the jab, footspeed and handspeed to cause problems.

We all make fun of Khan and rightly so but lets be real he has the game to make this a competitive fight should it happen.

Problem is mentally, Khan too often gets arrogant and goes away from his strengths which leads to him getting KO'ed.

If Hunter can get him mentally right and stick to a gameplan he could make it an interesting fight.
