Shaqiri will join Atletico

Shaqiri is close to signing Ateltico to which he gave a verbal agreement to, for January.

The responsible for the surprising transfer is Jorge Mendes. Mendes signed signed Shaqiri as his representative, and having good relationship with the Atletico board, he facilitated the deal.

It's said that the deal amount to about 8M.

Manzano is playing his future in the next couple of days, while Atletico is shopping for a new manager. They approached the likes of Aragones or even Benitez.

The article just says, that his brother denied that there is an agreement with Athletico and thats not more than just a rumour.

Then Shaqiri is quoted who says that if he will join another club, it must be good for him and good for his current club.

I`m a FC Basel girl and maybe we will kick out ManU out of CL, lol (just kidding).

l will support whatever will be the best for young Shaqiri. But l would love to see Wenger letting him play for Arsenal and not letting him end up on some bench of a big club. Such a young talented player has to progress and to play on a regular basis not ending up on some bench of a big club...
