I agree. It's not only results speaking it's also the quality of the teams too. I mean, every big team in EPL has a serious flaw that needs to be fixed if they want to compete.

The quality in La Liga is much higher than EPL Very Happy

I've been saying this for a long time, there are things EPL teams do well and things La Liga teams do well.

The EPL has a hard time producing great technical players especially Midfielders. It's the reason Silva and Mata are world beaters in that league because they are totally one of a kind.

The EPL lacks that Latin flair and technical ability in there teams and in turn they can't play a posession based system and it's why they play kick and chase the ball.

On the other hand, the league has great defenders, and very direct Mids and forwards that La Liga teams find it hard to handle as they are big, strong and fast which is what the EPL values and La Liga doesn't. I would love to see the average height in La Liga compared to the EPL.

IMO, I like the La Liga style better but if I'm 100% honest EPL games can be more exciting and thats why the league is more popular. Both leagues can use each other's players and would make there teams better.

With all that being said, Barca and Madrid are just on another level right now and the EPl has some catching up to do if they want to be on there level.

Why bother working hard for something, which really in the end is the inferior competition to EPL?

Exactly the English stance on the WC, which is why they missed the early ones. Then they were thrown out of their first WC in 1950 by the Americans.

They only won a WC in 1966 in woeful circumstances, the rest is as they say is history. In case of England, very woeful history.

I like how the little kids on this forum continue to argue about leagues it is so hilarious. It's the whole my dad could beat up your dad argument that little kids do at school, I thought this forum was a bit more mature but these threads show up weekly after X team beats X team....

It is called Europe experience Babun. Their players have not played European competitions enough bar a few top players like Silva, Aguero.

Give them time and they will start bossing Europe too.

really, any teams that dominates the midfield can beat them. Altho Villareal were missing key players they played the ball wonderfully, and Man City couldnt do nothing about it tbh, till they scored of course

So adding 'more' proof when there's no proof beforehand, and basing the "EPL" on one team that's playing it's his first season in CL (in how long?) warrants a thread for the "EPL in decline"?
