Definitely some military project.

You can see different images of the same area becoming scarred by bombardment after time. On page 23, the black pattern on the ground seems to have much larger damage to it than the surrounding white ground. I think they're testing the accuracy of some kind of remote controlled technology ... That's the only conclusion I can come to after seeing the black pattern and larger scars.

It just seems like they practicing various scenarios and testing their capability. Why are they doing all this?

The real question in my head is, with the growing influence of China and the inevitable overtaking of the US by China, can we expect the showdown to end up in a war? There are already so many signs of strain with China gradually exerting its power.

Clearly weapons test sites.

Must be a pain in the ass building those in such desolate areas.

The Chinese are all over the place. Even here they have some huge housing projects that Chavez has ordered.
