The Carlitos Tevez Thread
AC Milan only interested in loan deal for Manchester City's Carlos Tevez in January, vice-president Adriano Galliani reveals
AC Milan are only interested in signing Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez on loan in January, the club's vice-president Adriano Galliani has revealed.
Tevez is desperate to leave the Etihad Stadium and advisor Kia Joorabchian has held talks with Milan in the last week in an attempt to broker a deal before the transfer window opens in the New Year, with City reportedly only willing to consider a permanent transfer.
But while Galliani admits the long-term absence of Antonio Cassano after heart surgery means Milan could be in the market for a striker, he remains adamant the Italian giants are only interested in a loan deal with an option to sign at the end of the season.
"Whoever comes to Milan in January will be on loan for free, with an option to make that stay permanent,” he told Gazzetta dello Sport.
"Tevez? We will see, there's time. Probably if we had not had [Antonio] Cassano's situation, we would remain as we are."

Pretty smart decision from Galliani to ask for a loan with option to buy. If Tevez doesn't reach the form, for whatever reason, he had previously with Man City and Milan decide to buy him on the spot it could end up being a waste of money. However, I'm quite adamant that Tevez show his intention to stay in Italy and will demonstrate his full potential..

He needs to bulk down a bit and get that awesome agility he had back in the day if he's to succeed in Italy.

Meh...Ibrahimovic ftw? But I guess Ibra has other qualities that are leading to his success. As well as spending a couple years there, so perhaps not such a valid retort anyway.
That picture makes me LOL everytime. Tevez....what a character.
But I think he'll succeed wherever he goes. He has the talent and the work rate(on the pitch, that is) for it.

no way city will loan him out, its almost like tevez winning
hes city until next may, and will only go if the right offer comes in

Re: The Carlitos Tevez Thread
City are paying Tevez anyway, so he gets his pay check and isn't playing for the team. I'd say that is Tevez winning as he has not been fined yet.
And Milan are the same team that asked for and got an Ibra loan from Barcelona when no one thought that was possible. So I wouldn't act as though it is unheard of getting a player like that on loan

Galliani is pushing it too much with this one. We are getting Lopez instead anyway, since he will be cheap I guess. Will be interesting to see if he can bring the stuff that made him a Barca-player years ago, even though he failed.

I just want to see Tevez play again....
and it would be nice to see the reaction of all the incredible players that normally would be first choice get benched due to his presence....

Re: The Carlitos Tevez Thread
City are not stupid, they must have the best lawyers in town...Whoever that tells tevez he can stay in argentina not show up for work and still get paid without penalties too have been lied too...
City's lawyers are full time working and by the time tevez is back to england or is about to be sold he will then find out how much HE himself owes city
