just shows how much lass is needed. seriously name me one guy who who position is a pure dm that is on par with lass. Nobody except maybe De Rossi of Roma. Its annoying to know that he wants to leave when he is very important to our team. Hopefully he doesnt leave, we need him.

Well if he's guaranteed a starting 11 spot then I doubt he would leave. Players his age should be starting every game imo.

Melo is pretty goood himself, he just has a problem handling his emotions. the guy looks deranged sometimes, but when in form nothing can get through the midfield. he isnt bad but he is a psycho, hence a liability. I can already play it in my head, Melo stomping on Iniesta, slapping him, losing it on Busquets... = red card

Funny enough... Melo had 6 yellows and one red playing a lot at juve in serie a. Lass had 11 yellows whilenplaying part time in la liga.

last season 2009/2010, he had 9Y and 2R. before, 2008/2009 he had 12Y and 3R.

Lass on the other hand, almost never gets red carded, it's common for melo. he loses it on the pitch more often, and what he did at the world cup, shows he doesnt handle pressure well.

Unfortunately that's nowhere near Pepe's craziness.

I don't think we really need a DM if he isn't going to start.

i read he wants 4.5m a year but juventus are offering him only 3m per year !!

If we got Ramos and Pepe to behave, i think we can get Melo to take it easy a little bit... and Pepe is really not all the well behaved btw. He's also a red card waiting to happen.

My point is that we can do a lot worse than Melo + cash for Lass. We only need him in specialty situations and he's a good dm.

Lass wants to leave and he will. There's not doubt there. Not signing a contract extension for more money is a bit of a sign, no? lol

I think this deal happens. It makes a lot of sense on both sides.

I know, Melo is far from being a bad player. If he is the one we end up with, it's not gonna be a bad thing, by any means.
