Puzzle Solved: Most Likely Our Mr X Is Ganso

The description of a player is Witzel, who we are probably getting as well with the look into the future. But, Berlusconi who said a star player will arrive trolling us with Witzel sounds like a disrespect to fans. Also, I doubt that so much hype around Witzel as a Champ Player.

Ganso would be the ideal signing, but he is very difficult. Hamsik is heavily priced, I feel we can get Montolivo on the cheap since his contract is going to expire in a year. I'd say Ganso is my first choice, but I'd settle for Montolivo if not.

Ganso' doesn't have a passport and we've already used our non EU slot on Taiwo.But, there are talks that the FIGC will open another eu slot, so we may be able to sign Ganso after all..

I think Ganso would fit in perfectly in our team.

Ganso would be a similar price to Pastore IMO. Both would go for around 40m euro's give or take 5 or 10m.

He still is a chance to get it, though.

I think he will get one.

That should solve our Non EU spot. He's been in France for 5 years, I see no reason why he shouldn't get it. Keep in mind that there is still time, he will officially be a milanista in July 1. Some sources are saying that Ganso will leave after the Libertadores, which ends in the 25th of June.

Still don't buy Witzel is Mr. X

AC Milan have not matched Standard Liege's expectations as a bid for Axel Witsel has fallen below the marker needed to sign him.

Liege vice-president Luciano D'Onofrio has responded to Rossoneri CEO Adriano Galliani who on Sunday confirmed talks were taking place for the 22-year-old Belgium international.

But it seems Galliani's attempts at pushing through a deal has fallen at the first hurdle.

"I admit that there has been contact between Standard and Milan regarding Witsel. There is still a big gap between Milan's offer and our asking price though," D'Onofrio told the Italian press.

Negotiations are expected to continue even though D'Onofrio did not disclose the nature of Milan's bid, but previous reports suggested Liege want around €15 million to reach an accord.

Witsel made his debut for Standard in 2006, and his current deal expires in 2015.

He scored in Belgium's 1-1 draw against Turkey on Friday, but he remained quiet over his future when probed after the game.
