This is a naive topic yet Ganso was valued at 25 last year by Santos as this was when he was performing well as now with his subdued performances surely he will sell for the same if not less.

Eriksen can be valued maximum at 30 no? Even then 25 is a fair price for him

the 50M target is just a value, they bought Pastore for 42M, 50 isnt that far way, if you consider that as youngster, Pato has given a lot more guarantees in terms of potential.

@Bhends, i dont think they really care about the money tbh, they just want to make a splash and be talked about by next season as a serious contender.

They are thinking about demolishing the old stadium, and building a new one, in case the renovation plans do not look big enough for them, lol.

50 Mil? Based on potential he is worth that much I agree, consistency is not really a problem with him despite what you may hear as its only injuries that produces the inertia to consistency. Best thing is he HAS proven himself and would be a superb addition along with the fact that Carletto is a whiz at managing Pato.

Aside from that I can understand the excitement on Ancelotti coming (depending on how you rate him) as he is one of the Top 5 in the world no doubt in managers.

Pastore, who is also slightly injury prone and even more inconsistent than Pato, cost PSG 40m+ euro's. Why is 50 for Pato such a big deal?

Except Pastore has as many goals this season as Pato has this entire calender year and Pato is a striker how overrated can he be

He has not been the same Pato since the arrival of Ibrahimovic ,Robinho and Cassano.

He would do well if he were to be the focal point of a team like he was for Milan under Leonardo.

And quite clearly this is Ibra's Milan and add to that the incompatibility existing b/w both of them and as long as Ibra is around i doubt that his time at Milan would be very fruitful.Perhaps a move away from Milan would do a world of good.

Milan are clear winners in this deal.Not only they get rid of an inconsistent injury prone player who has been useless up until now in this particular season but they also milk 50m out of PSG.

But the big question is though whether all that money would be used to bring in new players or not.

Pato is nothing but unfulfilled potential.

And the goals against madrid.and inter.and Napoli.and all the key goals on the serie a last season

The guy has been injured for most of the calendar year,the fact he scored only 11 goals has nothing to do with him not being quality (inb4 someone says I'm defending he's worth 50M)

well... i dunno if it'd be good for milan to sell a young player like pato and get someone like tevez who is not far from 30.

however, pato hasn't really impressed me for a while.. he's definitely got the potential, but... i dunno..

either way, who could they (realistically) have to replace pato, if not tevez (who's actually a much better)?

his agent has said that it is a tempting offer or something. but it's up to milan. i dont think they will sell.

To be honest though I've never been high on Pato, this goes back to his Inter de Porto Alegre days.

Tevez is 27 years old and a great athlete so I don't see him as being old, he's in his prime.
