So Neuer isn't even the best GK in BL? Or is ter Stegen recently crowned best GK in teh world?

Arango has been a complete beast since Copa América. Venezuela is going to be half the team she is once he retires from the NT.

One of the best FK takers around and I'm not kidding. Current assist leader, too

Rafinha was classy for Schalke, but had a mediocre season at Genoa. The class was there, it's just that people have short term memories, or don't watch Bundesliga.

Maggio is an RWB and you gotta be joking about Maicon being the best RB currently in Serie A.

Playing Cavani AND Ibra doesn't even make any sense - Klose + either one would make more sense in this 4-1-3-2 you have concocted.

You surely must be joking..Serie A's best eleven would wipe the floor with this team especially look at the defense ..it doesnt look the best..Except Dante i dont rate the other three tbh..

Though it will be a close contest with Bundesliga's best..

Handanovic

Cannavaro-Silva-Chiellini

Maggio-Isla-De Rossi-Armero

Hamsik

Lavezzi-Cavani

there arent exactly "household" names but this team would be tough to beat.

Neuer *is* the best overall. He just played behind a great defense (Bayern only got 10 goals against so far in the BL). The fact that Neuer had a 1147 minutes clean sheet run over all club competitions this season was simply not as spectacular for the audience as the numerous saves ter Stegen and Ulreich had to make due to their leaky defense - and such are usually loved more by the fans than solid unspectacular goalkeeping. Mind you, this was a fan vote, not an expert board that ranked the players. The football magazine kicker had Neuer as number 1 ahead of Bernd Leno and Roman Weidenfeller, btw.

Well, German fans appreciate fresh youngsters a lot, and especially ter Stegen and Leno get a baby bonus here for being just 19 and still excelling as starting GKs for their clubs. Ulreich with just 22 is also one of the fresh upstarts in goal. If they make spectacular saves, they do get a special bonus. Neuers class is so well known, that I guess many people thought they can safely vote for the youngsters as he gets enough votes anyway. Very Happy
