Give Italy their 4 CL spots back and stop devaluing this competition even further.

Bayern and Dortmund are both incredible sides but the rest of the League is a joke and I have no idea why people pretend otherwise. La Liga has more depth ffs.

The thing is the performance in the first game was even more empathic. It's like United were playing Crystal Palace ffs. Hell, Palace put up a better fight.

The scoreline doesn't tell the whole story, but Leverkusen are still in contention to progress from that group. Actually it's likely that three Bundesliga clubs will progress, so the thread title is a fail, although, as a Hyypiä fan, I will put my hands up here and say they have not been ready for United in this group.

Schalke was the most disappointing of the Ze German sides. But let me not take credit from Utd, they were terrific and Leverkusen was absolute poop.

I don't usually like to go after a league based on one teams failings but bloody hell that's embarassing.

5-0 defeat at home to a team who has struggled against nearly everyone this season including a 2-2 draw with Cardiff recently.

That is true in logic, but take into consideration that Chelsea were coming from a season in which they finished 6th. We're not doing that great in the BPL, yet we've just wiped the floor with the team that is flying 2nd in the Bundesliga. That's why I think people here are bemused a bit. They didn't expect it to be this easy for United.

Schalke just needs to beat Basel at hme to progress and Leverkusen needs to meet Scoiedad who won't care and Dortmund just needs a win at OM to progress.

In comparison Juventus, Napoli and Milan could all be eliminated too. Give the fourth spot back rofl 

Schalke have terrific players but Keller is just awful and the goalkeeping situation is a complete mess, Leverkusen were just awful today.
