Khedira is out for one month so he will be utilized effectively in the near future. We bought him for depth and long term effectiveness, not to immediately slot into the starting 11.

There is no spot for him as long as Alonso is healthy....not sure why he was bought in the first place unless they are planning on getting rid of Alonso in the summer

This is a bit like Callejon, who is 24, but is under-used.

For their age these guys should had broken into the starting 11 and playing continuously, because if they don't what are they going to show for their prime years, which aren't far away?

Or why not at least loan them when you know they aren't going to feature??

Either that or Madrid should sell them so that their careers aren't ruined.

Not surprise though, Mourinho only likes to deal with ready made stars or buy top class players (not too sure why Madrid seemed to have changed their policy last summer market).

Is the reason Özil is deployed deeper because of Sahin not being fit? Because that's exactly the position Sahin plays.

4-3-3 with Alonso-Sahin-Khedira would be extremely sexy. I thought that was the plan but I haven't seen it in action yet.

He didint contribute shit in World Cup, he was played because VDB felt pity on him..I saw him in euros and tbh he was meh in there, any decent striker would have done better in his shoes.

He was injured for 9 months, you just can't be put in a game like this

Regarding Sushi, yes, there were rumours at the beginning that we wanted to start playing a 4-3-3, but Sahin has been injured and Özil is still adapting. That's why I also think Lass is playing so much becouse he is in Mourinhos plan (a destroyer behind 2 CMs)

Young players develop at a different rate.

Lukaku isn't good enough to be a starter for us atm despite his form in the Belgian League (which is probably the equivalent of the Championship). Even in the Pro League he was very inconsistent, it's just simply unrealistic to expect him to be a starter at Chelsea so soon when Drogba, Torres and Sturridge are ahead of him in a team that only plays with one striker.

Romeu comes from the best academy in the World, Varane was a starter for a Ligue 1 side.
