I can see the Puyol Masche exchange certainly !

Im rooting for more Cuenca starts, but its a bit unrealistic. Have a feeling Alexis might not start.

Yup, for all the talk about him getting loads of minutes at the beginning of the season, he has really not been featured as much recently.

I would start this team:

Valdes - Alves - Pique - Mascherano - Abidal - Thiago - Busquets - Iniesta - Sanchez - Messi - Cuenca.

Rest for Xavi, Puyol. Cesc to come from the bench, if we need him. Time to give Xavi some rest.

I agree with the idea of resting Puyol and even Xavi. Mascherano and Thiago deserve game time. Fingers crossed Xavi has been showing Javier Zanetti like fitness levels this season and it's incredible.

It's such a shame we lost 3 players already for the season

Anyway, I agree with others on starting Thiago, it's time he starts again.

I'd also like to see Pedro get a good 30 mins as I feel he will start to recover his form again.

On the match,we beat Madrid at the Bernabeu but could very well draw this match.
And I want Thiago to start.He has not started at all recently.

Afellay! We need him desperately. With no Villa and current Pedro... we need another winger. Cuenca is promising but I'd take Afellay every time. Promising player who hasn't got a break yet, I hope this is his chance.

Splendid news on Afellay.

On to Malaga I highly respect Pellegrini for his work at Villarreal and even at Madrid. I've said this prior but this current Malaga side is filled with has-been's and never-were's. Cazorla is the only standout imo. But they do now have a decent GK in Kameni. Yeah I expect three points ~I'm biased.

I have felt similarly about them. What remains to be seen is whether Malaga in the next few transfer windows will try to become like a ManCity or at least a PSG.
