Neuer has performed very well for Germany. Even as playmaker-sweeper-poacher keeper he can't do much if the guys in front of him flop.

It's like Casillas during the Madrid dark ages. He was consistently awesome while the rest of the team failed. Am I going to bang on Casillas or doubt his GK abilities because of the other guys? Hell no.

The same applies when Spain was flopping.

Madrid all of a sudden winning an important trophy doesn't erase past failures. I'm not even on NT terms here. You could have replaced Ramos with another guy and Spain would still have won what it won.

BTW, Ramos has a huge, gaping mouth and he should shut it more often. He has an even bigger mouth than Ronaldo, who when it comes to other teams treats them with respect.

germany have so many great midfielders, forwards that neuer as a fixture in the nt doesnt matter to their title hopes
