The process behind a player transfer

Does anyone know the process as to how a player is transfered to one club to the next? How are the players contacted? Does the club provide a house + car?

Manchester city calls, they send over Megan Fox with eight massive bags of money, after she visits the player City then sent her to the club, she gives more money to the club before returning to the players house with more money and a contract.

She then forces the player to sign and once the player has she hands the player more money. After all this the player is a mancherster city player.
