There is a problem with selling Kaka, however desirable that is to me and everyone else. We would need an AM backup for Ozil, and with Granero half way out the door and Sahin in this bizarre state of limbo, we do not currently have one. The plan was to get back whichever of Sarabia/Canales was doing best, but one is hardly playing and not performing while the other is ruled out for the season with an ACL injury. And I do NOT want us buying a completely new AM. So, as much as I hate to say it, keeping Kaka might actually be the better option.

He performed well for a back up but i think it will be better for us to sell him and recruite a youngster as Ozil's back up.

I hope it's Sahin, so many lol's would be had that day.

I'm pretty confident that, all things considered, the Ibra deal was, by far, the worst transfert of all time. Without a doubt.

The Ibra deal was very bad but we were getting rid of Eto'o no matter what so there are some reasons behind it.

That being said Madrid fans don't really have much room to talk since they sold Wesley Sneijder for 20 million in the peak of his career and lost out on 2-3 years of being a top 5 player in the world for 20 million and you replaced him with Kaka for 88 million.

And Kaka has done nothing for you while Wesley has been brilliant.

The Ibra deal was bad no doubt but selling Sneijder for 20 million and replacing him with Kaka for 88 million is just as bad IMO.

Lets compare the two since all anyone ever talks about is Barca's fu** up in the transfer market with the Ibra deal and the same people seem to gloss over this deal.

Ibra deal- Eto'o (at the time top 3 striker in the world IMO) + 65 million dollars. In the end they got Ibra for a year and he contributed although he tore apart our team chemistry and was not a good fit at all but we did win trophies with him and he did help us beat Madrid with the winning goal against them and some big goals against Arsenal in the CL.

Kaka and Sneijder deal- Although not linked in the same deal it was a like for like replacement. They bought Kaka (done nothing) for 88 million dollars and received no production and they sold Sneijder for 20 million dollars and he guided Inter to a Triple and his national team to the WC final and many argued he should have won the Balon D'or as the best player in the world.

Now many people will tell you the Ibra deal is the worst transfer ever and as a single deal it probably was but compared to this what do you think is worse?

I think you should look at Sneidjers injury records too,can we afford to have our key player injured most of the time in a league where Barca will almost never lose points?
