i think it depends on the way the ball is hit, it didnt look like sxny could do any better with the way kuyt hit that penalty.

Completely disagreed. It all depends on where the penalty was placed and where the goalkeeper is when he jumped. Look at Szczesny when the ball reaches the goal. His hand is already past the ball and so it is IMPOSSIBLE to parry it away. You're basically criticizing him for having a great jump and covering a bigger area of the goal. Well done (y)

Can't really argue with you as I havn't watched a video of the save lol; however, he did come of his line early so maybe that had something to do with his "great jump".
Maybe I should make a thread about how horrible the AR was and why the penalty should've been retaken.

Yes i have played keeper that's why i'm saying it.i know what its like and i know that i cant stand still, wait for the penaltyy taker to kick the ball, and move based on where i see the ball move. You gotta make the move beforehand which is what szczesny did. He guessed the right way, covered the ballm and was forced to hit it back into play.

That loss was on par with John Oshea's 92nd minute winner at Anfield in 2007 when we absolutely raped United all game and they barely had a sniff at our goal.

I will be butthurt for years to come for that loss.
