I don't feel sorry for them though. When you get this far in the comp, it's always likely you're going to draw a strong opponent. APOEL will play Madrid exactly as they've played everyone else, with grit and determination.

Dont sleep on Marseille, they will have no complex parking the bus and just waiting for Bayern.

Their main weapon is that box between the defensive midfield, and the CB pair.

As Zealous mentioned, a team with nothing to lose is a dangerous opponent to face. APOEL (apple) is not gonna make things easy for Real Madrid home or away as there is quality in the side that shouldn't be taken lightly (as I'm sure Mourinho would not). However, I would be a liar if I didn't admit that I'm pretty confident Real Madrid would triumph in the end.

Anything other than that and I'm pretty sure it would be considered a monumental upset and I'll probably rage a bit...

It depends if APOEL are up for it or if they are just happy to be there.

If they take a game vs Madrid as their "reward" for reaching this far then they won't stand much of a chance imo.

If they take it seriously and go out there with 100% commitment they can pull something off.

It was a good run by APOEL, but yea they had to face a top club in the end

I don't get the complaints... Madrid will play APOEL then most likely Bayern, while Barca will play Milan and then Chelsea/Benfica. Each side will have one difficult game and most likely one walk, it just comes in different rounds, and Madrid's draw is at least arguably harder if one wishes to claim Bayern > Milan. Nobody got shafted, nobody got it easy. Chill with the victim complex.
