Well sure, I see the argument for it being a bit too early for that and him not doing enough to warrant it.

However, if you want a great ball playing holding midfielder on your team, its quite logical.

The only other options you could go with are probably Redondo and Matthaus, both of whom are far more vertical than Busquets and drove forward with the ball way more than Busquets, which is not something everyone wants when you go the attacking players ahead of them.

Makelele isnt the passer or "get our of pressing" player Busquets is and then add you got Zidane who would rather be in between the lines than deep in midfield. You have to question how well that would work.

Looks like it will end up a broken team with no link.

Exactly. but most of the ppl on here dont realsie that putting Messi and ronaldo in the same team will never work. LOL

Thank you! Backenbauer is the best ball playing MF, Baresi was used in Saachis offside trap and was good at keeping the defensive line i shape. Cafu is still the best bombing FB I have ever seen, Busquets is doing the role he has been WC at for years.
