Not really, Bradley has that elusive ability, he does not go full speed every time with the ball because due to his vision and control he doesn't need a lot of pace to achieve great results. Due to this fact, he's going to have a very long and quality career as a footballer. It was very impressive, because Brazil just brings a different speed than every other team in the world and he wasn't phased at all. I think in that first half we found the backbone of our team in Gomez, Johnson (who looked like Ribery all night), and Bradley.

I was saying to my wife during the game with every move, "that's another million, oh add another million, oh is that Inter and Roma calling? Tell them to get in line."

As far as Gomez, I would love to see him get some European love, because I've always said the guy does what you want...he just scores goals. He would do excellent in Europe. However, at this point is he to old to be sought by Europe? Not like I mind watching him play for Santos Laguna.

Roma look to Castan and Bradley

By Football Italia staff

Roma are close to signing Corinthians defender Leandro Castan, while talks are underway for Chievo’s Michael Bradley.

The Giallorossi are restructuring the side under new Coach Zdenek Zeman, who has a very different style to predecessor Luis Enrique.

It is reported the club has agreed a deal with Corinthians worth €5m for 25-year-old centre-back Castan, nicknamed the ‘new Lucio’ in Brazil.

Roma are also looking to reinforce the midfield and it is claimed in various news sources that Chievo star Bradley is the top target.

The American international had also been linked with Palermo, Juventus and Milan.

Would he be a starter for Roma then? Or would he be used as a squad player?

I would say he's good enough to be a starter for sure.Zeman loves players with a great work ethic.

Definitely know who'll be on the back of my new Roma shirt this season Very Happy

I'm incredibly happy and proud as an American to see this guy suit up for Roma, who have never fielded an American before. He's the perfect player to help Roma grow into a more well known side here in the States as Bradley is held in high regard here as well as the signing Zeman needed to field a highly athletic, mobile and high IQ midfield that will help both the backline and the attack line.

EPIC bump

Been exactly the player I hoped and predicted to see within Roma as he has flourished under Zeman's dynamic and attacking midfield schema. DDR always leave a gap the size of Abruzzi whenever he is absent in the midfield yet Bradley is one who fills the Roman's shoes quite well with his excellent on field presence, passing and general like command. Turning out to even be better then how he was in Verona.

As for his Italia, aside from the strange American clipped words and rounded his syllables his Italian is excellent. You can tell how hard he worked to improve it since his Chievo days as his vocab is astounding for a rookie to Italiano.

Best American player bar-none right now.

Absolutely love this guy. Just sad that with De Rossi in Roma his game time will be limited. Tonight he had a great game against Torino. Does everything you would expect from him to perfection.

He's shown he can play alongside De Rossi so it's Tachtsidis that's he more in competition with and though the Greek is quite talented, he's shown himself to be hot tempered and with a team like Roma that needs its midfielders to keep their composure, Bradley seems the better choice for me.

The shift he put in against Torino yesterday was typical Bradley. He finished that game with a 95% passing average actually.

Bradley is a very, very solid player. Like him a lot.

As far as hairstyles, he needs hair lol. His head is too big and he looks like an alien bald.

Sorry, if he is going to continue to go by the moniker "General Bradley", then the hair needs to stay off.

I don't know if he's capable of growing some crazy Lichaj quality facial hair though.
