Well, nearly a month after terrorizing FC Raulke, Bilbao have been gaining momentum within the Europa despite their inconsistent season within the Liga, while Sporting are 4th in their league and unbeaten in their last 5 games and on a high after knocking out Man City.

Yes, Bilbao outclassed Schalke and United, but for some reason I just have a bad feeling about this match considering Bilbao's inconsistent form in the Liga and somewhat subdued play now along with the fact that Sporting did knock out City. Lets not forget how strong the Portuguese are within the EL as well.

Iturraspe and Javi were just unbelievable today. Their presence and play is just unreal. Ander controlled the final 3rd while Fernando El Rey Leon with 2 vital goals and 1 assists.

I will give my fair share of respect to Sporting who I have said were easily the biggest match Bilbao have faced within this EL. I forever will respect them from now. Their young manager is very talented.

Until then, let us Bask not only in an all spanish final, but the Basque reprisal under Bielsa and the Euskadi.
