Schalke 04 v Athletic Club Bilbao

Fresh from my frustration on UEFA (and my [former] hero, Paul Brietner), I decided to focus on the REAL competition with REAL excitement.

Introducing the Europa League and the finest faceoff in ALL of Europe atm the moment.





Now this.... is a draw I am confident of winning as Bilbao in general have a good record against German teams.

Plus I have 100% faith Bilbao can beat anyone after outclassing SAF.

Admittedly, I will also be supporting Athletico against Hannover for Spanish pride.

Nah it'll be a great game and I'll be happy with whoever wins. I wouldn't mind Raul playing against us in the European Super cup though (provided we both win our respective cups, which is easier said than done)

I enjoy all of the TOP 5 leagues, as a neutral i probably enjoy Serie A this year the most.

Adit i started following Barca because of Bobby Robson, no other reason. I was born in England so i didnt have a preferance towards Valencia.

My father is from Valencia, thats what Arq means by Spanish roots.

I really liked watching Bilbao against Manchester, I shall be rooting for them.

At least until they meet the mighty portuguese in the semi-finals.

What I mean is more for Liga pride.

I'm just supporting a Madrid legend and hoping that has some more success late in his career.

The EL/UEFA cup is the only thing Raul hasn't won at club level.

He is the player I fear most within Schalke as it is.

I just don't want him to gain on Pippo's lead though even further
