Did some research, took all the stats from the same website. [Buffon's stats werent the same as he says, but he is still the best. Im not 100% sure on these as I just threw them together quickly, so if anyone wants to verify or clarify, feel free ]

Real Madrid (Casillas): 30 goals in 34 games.
Average per match: 0.88

Buffon (Juventus): 18 goals in 32 games.
Average per match: 0.56

Neuer (Bayern Munich) 21 goals in 32 games.
Average per match: 0.66

So, Juventus have the best keeper, defense, coach, all 3???

Stats don't mean much. There are too many variables.

If you want to go by stats, Joe Hart is better than Casillas.

No disrespect to Seria A, but having a good defensive record in Italy just doesn't impress me tbh.

Juve are a great team though, no doubt.

BTW I'm pretty sure Casillas has made more saves than any other keeper you brought up.

I agree that Juve's defence is very good, especially when you factor in Buffon since he is technically part of the defence as well.

Agreed...our record speaks for itself.

Surely next season will be the bigger test, but remaining unbeaten in Serie A with only 18 goals conceded says a lot and shouldn't be undermined.

I checked, and Buffon actually does make more saves/game than Casillas. Not by much, though.

Buffon: 2.48 saves/game.
Casillas: 2.2 saves/game.

For me, Gigi is still the best keeper in the world. I know stats don't tell the whole story but he has only seen 18 goals past him this season and makes slightly more saves per game than Casillas (thanks 7amood).

Our defense could be considered the best in the world at the moment too, I look forward to seeing it in action in the champions league.

Conte needs European success to be considered the best current manager, it's too soon. That being said, what he has done at Juventus is fantastic and he is an inspiration.
