Wagner Ribeiro: I've offered Lucas to Real Madrid

Earlier in the week this was reported:

Real Madrid are confident of landing Sao Paulo star Lucas at the end of the season.

Sao Paulo rejected a bid from Chelsea for the attacker in January, while Inter Milan have also made contact about a price for the youngster.

But Real are convinced they have the upperhand after Lucas' parents accepted an invitation from president Florentino Perez to visit the club on April 14.

Florentino is throwing everything into landing Lucas after being frustrated in his pursuit of Santos star Neymar.

Now this just recently:

The agent of Lucas has confirmed he's offered the youngster to Real Madrid.

The Sao Paulo star is emerging as a top target for Real president Florentino Perez ahead of the summer market.

Wagner Ribeiro revealed: "It's part of my job. I proposed to Real Madrid Neymar at the time, also Kaka and Robinho, all players who were represented by me. I have friends at Real, including the president, which goes beyond sports and therefore it was my duty to encourage a meeting."

"Lucas is among the top five players in the world. He is up with Messi, Neymar, Cristiano Ronaldo and Kaka."

Well anyone who watched us play without Di Maria clearly saw we lacked a solid option to replace him on the pitch, Lucas offers that.

Meh I don't care if we get him unless he gets minutes in Ronaldo's spot.

The only reason I want Neymar is I think he can oust Ronaldo from the left wing.

Other than that I don't care who we get to be honest.

Canales still played 15 games for us, we can't be blamed that he underperformed in almost all of those appearances.

Instead of letting him rot on the bench we sent him on loan to Valencia, hardly our fault at all.

When you play well your given more than an opportunity to succeed, see the 18yr old Varane who had only played 6 months of top level football before Real Madrid.

I agree with Bhends.

We are buying a developing player, to serve as backup for 2 developing players , while he blocks our 3 most promising developing Castilla players from getting into the team.

I honestly can't take this shit anymore.

Canales, Sarabia and Jese are all getiing noweher near what they deserve.

What does Canales deserve? (see above) Sarabia has done nothing at Getafe, we have a buy back clause all he has to do is put in a half decent performance ala Callejon, unfortunately Sarabia has done nothing so far.

Jese is a very different player to Lucas, more of a CR/Callejon type mold player rather than a Di Maria type player. I do not see how Lucas will inhibit him at all.

Bhends is right, you cant blame people for thinking that he is making a bad career move. It can work out just as much as it can go south.

Kaka is back up to Ozil and has played when Di Maria was injured. Why can't Lucas do the same?

Well Jese isn't going to get any minutes in Ronaaldo's spot so RW is the only other place.

And I do believe Lucas will be backing up the right wing as well.

Canales started 3 games , give me a break, one was the first match of the season where he performed well and one was against Valencia where he performed well.

Getafe's coach is an idiot.

We should hire them a new coach since that's where we send all our talent anyway.
