If Chelsea wins Champions League, how good that make Napoli look like?

since they were on par, if not better than Chelsea over both legs...
This season Napoli was one the best teams in the Champions League imo. I had never seen them before, but man they were a joy to behold. Simply stunning football, had they defeated Chelsea, I have no doubt that they had went all the way to semifinals at least to face Barcelona. I don't really know how they'd fare against Barca, since they area really attacking side, unlike Chelsea, and may or may not have defeated Barca as Chelsea did. But that could be a good game for next season's Champions League: Barca - Napoli.

Anyway back to the final. Both finalists have faced Napoli this season in CL. Bayern winning 3-2 in aggregate, and Chelsea scrapping through 4-3 after extra time. As these result at least show Napoli is not far from the level of the finalists.

Can Napoli be a genuine contender for the Champions League title next season (they keep stars and sign some better defenders?)

What players do you also think Napoli need or have a chance of getting that could make them better?

(need to win 2 more Serie A matches, hope they make it)

Plus I don't see how Napoli were the better team when we handed them a 4-1 throbbing. We didn't even park the bus.

Short answer: no.

no rates chelsea now and even if they fluke another win against bayern no one will rate them. bayern will definitely outplay them. but the better team is not always reflected on the scoreboard.

as for napoli, inexperience cost them in the end. everyone has discovered theyre a good team after this seasons cl. hope they get third.

Not very good, because Napoli beat AVB's Chelsea, whereas Terry's Chelsea beat Napoli 4-1, and that's the Chelsea that could be champions.
