We NEED to renew Suso ASAP, and sell Eccleston, Doni, and Wilson if possible.

He just recently had a contract re-newed or got a professional contract! Suso is yet to sign a professional contract hopefully that would be sorted out within this year

I think we will sign an attacking player maybe striker regardless of who is leaving.Probably Dempsey or someone out of the blue like Assaidi.

Also just noticed Dembele has only a year left on his contract.Surprised no one made a bid for him.

Thought Cole was given 3 years on his contract. Purslow/Roy really f*cked it up.

Saying that... I'd only give Suso a new contract with Carragher given a coaching role.

I feel Gulacsi is better than Brad Jones and I'm certain I remember reading Doni getting around 50-60k a week which is massive considering he only sits on our bench.

Sama and Wisdom have more potential than Danny Wilson imo and Wilson doesn't really have a future at this club. We should try to offload him this summer. I've never rated Eccleston... so I'd try to offload him too.

None the less, atleast 200k will be wiped off this window. With potential sales in Adam and Spearing, that should rise to about 300k. Finding a potential buy for Cole is also massive.

I don't know how highly BR regards Pacheco. I'm afraid if he doesn't show something special and improve we'll lose him like we did Nemeth. Like someone already said in this thread, potential only keeps you at a big club for a certain amount of time, and his time seems to be fast approaching.

We'll either sell him or renew his contract.

Nemeth actually turned out pretty average, no wonder we let him go. Currently he's 23 and he plays in Eredivisie for Roda JC, season just started and he's a starter for them.

Insua is also 23 and he's doing much better than Nemeth. He's the starting LB for Sporting CP.

Rumours are that that Carragher has turned down a one-year extension offer built into his previous deal. If so he's most likely looking to go into coaching next season.

Didn't we actually pull an Aurelio with Eccleston this summer? I'm almost certain we released him at one point then re-signed him.

Carra will be a great mananger. Hopefully he works under Rodgers.

Nemeth was definitely not average. He was very promising. We got rid of him and Dalle Valle for PFK ffs. Certain injuries ruined Nemeth's career, in Greece anyway.

We are speaking of youth prospects we let go of yet the biggest loss in my opinion of the last decade has to be Mikel San Jose. Remember him? The Basque CB that Rafa bought yet unsurprisingly when Hodgson came in?

He is now the starting CB for the Basque National Selekzioa and Athletic. He has proven to be a very skilled ball playing CB with superb reading of the game. So in essence he could have been the heir to Agger.

Think he was sold as he wanted game time or he was unsettled and wanted to go back home. It's one or the other.

Kenny was talking about bringing back the boot room but he was unfortunately sacked. Hopefully BR brings it back like the red nets.

And I didn't say Nemeth was average, but he certainly did turn out average. I don't know much about his time in Greece but it surely doesn't look like he's lived up to his potential. Hopefully he can turn his career around and comes back to Anfield and provides some goals which we are defintely lacking atm.
