Second, Torres has finally been getting back into his game lately, he played well tonight and has had a pretty successful run lately, I can understand why he wouldn't want to risk that as missing a penalty in the CL final and all the media attention that follows from that, would shatter his confidence to pieces once again.

Pedro is shit that was why he never came on, Fernando was awesome, he could have done better with his finishing, but he was the game changer when he came on.

His runs caused so much discomfort to the Italian defence and created so many goal scoring chances, had he started he would have scored one or two.

His movement was good, his touches was nice. He actually did quite a few things good but the one thing he was brought on to do and what he is meant to do which is score.

2 really good chances, 2 terrible misses...

The same game you watched, I saw him round up Buffon, who did a terrific job to clear the ball, dribble a defender and set up a chip shot, dribbled another defender and sent in a dangerous cross, all in a matter of 10 minutes or so.

People are really blind, I think Torres is just a victim of his past form and price tag, no matter what he does he doesn't get the appreciation he deserves, Spain looked 10x more dangerous when he came on FFS.
