He's right in a sense though, he does go missing for long periods.

I described him as economical earlier and what i mean by that is he only gets involved when necessary.

Against Wigan he created the first goal and won the penalty and then disappeared, Against us he scored the penalty and created the 2nd and then disappeared.

He's the next in line of supremely talented players who are like mechanical robots.

I dont much care if a player disappears for long periods as long as they keep being decisive (forwards/attackers at least), but thats just me personally

Out of 240 he's probably had 20 good minutes. What would people be saying if these penalty decisions hadn't gone Chelsea's way - as they easily could have? Obviously he's world class but from what I've seen someone like Mata will prove far better over the course of the season.

He is still young. If all he does with age is take his good periods of the game and extend them he will be a GOAT.

One of my fav. players of all time. His presence at Chelsea is worrisome to me atm. He should be playing for a bigger club perhaps.

He picks and chooses his moments rather than going 100 mph all the time. It's his way of conserving energy.

It's his first season at Chelsea, he needs to adapt.

He is a 21 year old who is playing his first season at a top level like this. Not to mention under a tactically inept manager.

Also he is nowhere near the best player in the league lol. Not yet anyways
