Got a new idea for career mode:

How about not having a transfer budget at all? Whenever you want a player, you ask the board/chairman/etc and they tell you whether you can get him or not. That way you're not worrying that you've only got 9m or 5m etc etc.

I think he means that instead of a set budget your chairman just tells you if you have enough funds for the player, but i think it would be harder that way, trying to figure out how much you have to spend

after just getting screwed over in FIFA12 on deadline day (sold my best CM for 15mil and thought i could get banega who had a market value of 13mil for aorund 16mil-17mil but when i made the bid shalke asked for 25mil so i had to settle for M'vilia who doesnt work well with Busquets) i think that in FIFA13 you should be able to enquire as to how much the club wants for a player without actualy putting in a bid

also seeing how players overalls are all capped (which is stupid imo) you should be given an estimator of their potetnial so you know what your getting

There's a feature like that in FM. When you want a player, you ask the board to do all the negotiating etc.

I did that one for schweinsteiger because Bayrn just wouldn't sell him to me and my board ended up spending 120 million on him making him the most expensive player

he then ended up flopping after injuring himself about 3 times :facepalm:

Fifa should allow you to interact with your B team. Promote and demote some players for some exp or something.

The fact I have to wait a year to bring over Sergi Roberto to the senior squad and pay 8m for him is ridiculous.

Probably the smallest thing to complain about, but they should do something about the Captain system during games. I'd rather not see Nico Lopez automatically take the armband simply because I had to sub out Totti. We should be able to either determine a vice-captain pre-game from the Team Management screen or just be able to select the best fit when the captain comes off. It's a petty, minute thing, but it's a peeve of mine with many, many FIFA games.

I've always wondered whether it makes a difference who's the captain or not. I know it does in FM, not sure with FIFA.

Doesn't factor into the player's growth at all actually. It's more a superficial feature than anything.

I only had the board negotiate a player once (Afellay Razz

) and that was my first ever transfer when I got the game a couple months ago, so my memory is a bit shady, but I believe that yes it does take money away from your transfer budget.

I don't really know why it wouldn't, also.

They need to make career mode more interesting with more events throughout the year, not just 38 friendly games with two transfer windows during the season.

And for the love of god, each career mode should be different, instead of Snejider and schweinsteiger joining Man City every year and Kompany, Tevez and Aguero leaving

Your manager now appears on the touchline in matches based on customisation options chosen at the start of Career Mode.

This should be cool. Smile

When the CPU makes an offer for one of your players you can now choose to “Counter Offer” to ask for more money. The CPU will then choose to accept, reject or make a counter offer of their own.

Also I hope they add situations like the Tevez saga, RVP leaving Arsenal etc in career mode.

And choosing who you face in pre-season. E.g. going on a tour to the U.S. etc.
