I'd rather see him there than at 10 tbh

So would I.

Also, Neymars WC is over, Oscar needs to step up if Brazil want to win it.

For having taken a 6-month break from the game in preparation for this tournament, he's really disappointed.

Hasn't had the kind of really shining performances I was expecting him to put on, tbh.

In part because many of their supposed superstar wunderkinds haven't performed as they were expected to going into it, of whom Oscar is one.

Yeah, The only players who have performed is Neymar, Luiz, Gustavo, Fernandinho and Silva.

The rest have been average.

I think Germany will beat them.

No Silva, No Neymar, Fernandinho will be dropped for Gustavo.

Germany will score once and park the bus, Low loves his defencive style.

Now that Neymar has been sidelined, I fully expect Oscar to step up. I mean, he really has to if they want to go to the finals.

See the name of the game is speed; you could suck at anything in sports but if you have speed then that alone overrides any other deficiency. All greats have one thing in common and its speed.

Oscar unfortunately is slow. His evolution stops at being a decent player but never ever a great. His present market value is 50M. I am willing to listen to offers at or above 50M but not less. Still a useful player.

He oscillates way too often.
Worst thing is that his best game on mundial was against Croatia. </3

Marginally better than the shite he put out last season, but not by much. Long way to go to get back to what he once showed regularly and could well find himself out of the team before ever getting there.

I have faith he'll get there, he has little burden now.

Hazard Bossed it and so did Cesc. He just has to make sure he improves, he is young, he can still be great.

Well, that sort of mushy gushy stuff looks great on paper, but I'm afraid Mourinho will have little time players playing consistently shite when there are other options available.

I thought he had a good game today, mainly the second half. Needs to do more of the same he did in the second half and his place is safe imo. He is too critical in allowing Cesc to interchange from playing deep and onto a more advanced position.

Yeah, made the first goal with his pass.

As long as he keeps doing that and improving in games, he'll get his great form back.

Was seriously missed in our midfield, Everton really controlled the tempo of the game thanks to our ineffective midfield play.

I agree, he was missed, Ramires doesn't hold a candle to him.

BUT, if he had played, Fabregas would have been in the pivot and that would have been bad.

Ramires had a good offensive display, but he is off the ball type player and not one to get involved in our build up.

I don't think Everton would have created the same amount of opportunity if Oscar played, we needed Oscar to get on the ball and help Cesc distribute the ball.

With Oscar out Mikel should have been in the game a lot earlier.

Either way glad with the win and largely thinks to Everton horrid back four tbf.
