is apparently a player of interest for Milan; a very mediocre CF; isn't able to create chances for himself, fluffs a ton of chances, and too damn short. Juve want 15m euro, I say sell this dustbag and sign Jovetic and Van Persie

Go th fck out... It was good when he scored a equaliser with milan, and won us the udinese game? Scored against napoli to, when we were down with 2 goals... Scored the winner with lecce, and other important goals.. Show some respect!

I would sell him too, but I don't see Juventus getting 15M in return

I just don't see him performing well in Conte's system, he was very inconsistent for me this season. Came up huge in a couple games, against Milan and Udinese off the top of my head, but anonymous in many more.

Juventus could definitely replace his 10 goals. I would also prefer to see him sent to Fiorentina in addition to money for Jovetic. However, him going back to Milan would be a nice move for his career I'm sure

Matri isn't Juve quality; 10 goals in 2 consecutive seasons must have CFs like Trezeguet and Sivori face/palming like crazy. I am aware he scored goals for Cagliari before his mid-season move, but so what? A CF who isn't producing 15-20 goals a season should not be considered (Quags and Vuci are the exception because of their style of play)

If it means selling him would fetch us a quality striker i'm all for it..

Its clear that Conte doesnt rate him hence why he got benched by Borriello in the 2nd half of the season.

But the problem is i can see those cheapskates offering nothing more than a loan fee which wont go well with us obviously.Either pay up or f*ck off should be our stance !

There is no certainty if we spend 40-50 Mil on a forward, he is gonna deliver or not get injured!

Matri isn't an icon of the club, a youth product, a world class player...
He's a good player, who can play well elsewhere
Juventus are looking for a better player

I have given Matri 2 seasons to impress, he hasn't delivered (aside from 2 goals v Cesena in the 2-2 draw n assist v Lazio this season); he is nothing more than an above average CF. I haven't said a bad word about Barzagli nor Vidal; they are both professionals, are great CB n DM, respectively + hardly make mistakes. Its Chiellini n Lucio who are garbage.... troll on son, troll on

No, I'm sorry, in the case of Chiellini, Cotes is just with what he is saying
You're way too harsh on Chiellini, serie a defender of the year multiple times

i may be misinterpreting cotes, and if i am, i apologize, but it seems that he is not so angered by the thought of selling matri, as he (and i too am) is tired of seeing that dude come on here and be so utterly negative toward our players. for me it's an odd way to support a team.

whether or not matri is sold, the fact remains that he scored 20 goals for juve in a year and a 1/2, helping us to an undefeated scudetto... that to me makes it hard for someone to call him a ' mediocre... dustbag' (whatever that is).

sidenote- i've found that when you want someone to calm down (not that anyone wasn't calm) telling that person to 'calm to f*ck down' won't generally get you the desired effect... just sayin

Selling Matri is not my problem..
Matter a fact, I know if he goes to Milan, he will find a killer form just like Nocerino did...
Both team have the ability to get the best out of their opponents' players & that has been the case there-out the years...

When you see a player like Matri, who many a times work hard as hell, come back to the midfield to help out making many interception, pressure defenders into making mistakes & always get forward as long as he's on the field, a player who always does his utmost for the team (even if sometimes his quality isn't up to standard) & people are gonna turn around & bash him because they find his job is soooo easy to do on FIFA,PES or FM, that is what annoys me...

Why do we have to sell Matri? he played well just against Milan and Udinese?

he is not just a goal scorer, our 2-1 win over Inter was all Matri

his performances in the first half got us our points

I dont think RVP is the right player for us! I think we need someone young who can become a superstar! I like this Boakye kid but he has a lot to improve yet, Maybe Destro would be a good move and Jovetic to take us up another level!

Matri BLOWS just admit it, the guy is waaaay too wasteful in front of goal. call it bad luck, rotation whatever you like, the guy comes up short way too much. He is great in support, he's technically sound and he has good off ball movement, but he's nothing special athletically and he doesnt do his job: putting away clear chances.

I'm not a Matri fan either, but I do think that he is an above average striker that deserves to start for a mid-level team. So, I would prefer that he be given the opportunity to start somewhere else if we buy another striker. There is no need to go on and on debating this. He clearly not Juve quality and he is not going to someday develop into a 20 goal scorer. He's a decent striker, but that's about it.

If we played with 2 strikers then yes, he makes for a very serviceable target man.
