Is there any team in the world these guys wouldnt start in?

Chiellini?
Jordi Alba?
Marchisio?
Modric?
Podolski?

Quite agree tbh. Infact i think only Alba wouldnt start while i think the rest have a chance but not as high as modric.

Chiellini in madrid also seems quite mouthwatering.

IF Marchisio can get in form on a consitent basis id say he'd have no problem in getting in most top teams in the world.

Modric wouldn't start for Juve and Barca
Marchisio wouldn't start for Barca, Madrid, Bayern, maybe Arsenal and City
Chiellini would play for Barca as a LB, thus taking out Alba
Podolski wouldn't play for Barca, Madrid, City, PSG, Chelsea

Podolski would start over Sanchez, Nene/Menez, or Di Maria any day of the week. Would have a rough time at Bayern cuz Kroos is better as a CM but Podolskis better overall. So id say the only team he wouldnt start for is Bayern. Not sure exactly how City play or who starts, so wont comment on them.

Marchisio is slightly better than all of Busquets, Khedira, and Gustavo in my opinion. I could see him starting anywhere.

Modric would displace Di Maria, and if he can play on the wings of a 433 could start in Barca and Juve too. Dunno about Modric vs Kroos.

Alba could start anywhere except for Madrid, and Bayern is Lahm moved back to LB, but with Alba, Lahn woukd stay on the right.

Chiellini could start ANYWHERE without any doubt in my mind in my opinion.

Not enough quality for a team that has quality... :coffee:

Podolski maybe not. Villa, Sanchez, Pedro, Afellay and Messi imo would definately start instead of him, maybe not Afellay though the four definately.

You think Aaron Lennon is better than Podolski? Podolski would also start over Mata for Chelsea, Welbeck/Chicharito for United, Nene/Menez for PSG, Samchez for Barca and Di Maria for Madrid. Dont know Citys formation or stafters so i sont comment on them. He would also staprt for Bayern over Muller if Kroos is pushed bacj into a CM role, but Kroos is better as a CAM.

I thought Bale started at LB. Anyways, just saw Tottenham live against the Red Bulls. Bale was impressive, but id take Podolski any day.

And ive hyped him long enough? He was a top 5 goalscorer as a second striker in the Bundesliga, in a team that got relegated. He also scored 16 goals in 19 games when played centrally. Ive also seen him play live on multiple occasions, and ive seen alot of players live, including Diego, Schurrle, Henry, Beckham, Dempsey, Donovan, Lennon, Bale, etc and Podolski was definitely the best ive seen. Maybe im not overrating him, maybe you just are underrating him bscause he had one poor internatuonal tournament since 2004.

Chiellini - Real Madrid don't really need any CB's.

Alba - Wouldn't get into the side with Marcelo/Coentrao here.
