What do people think about the chances of the 'other' teams in the SPL to make the step up this season and challenge Celtic in Rangers' absence??

Celtic have this season's title in the bag. I think a more proper question would be asking how many titles Celtic will win in a row now.

Celtic will likely win the SPL title until the League goes under or some uber-rich guy decides to pick up another SPL club as his plaything.

the only reason Celtic and rangers were so good becaue of the competition they provided each other, and although Celtic will maintain their high standards for a few seaons, without a proper challenge they will start to get lazy

unless of course the SPL finds a new SAF.....

Celtic's annual turnover is between £60m-70m.

No other SPL club's turnover is above £10m (now that Rangers are gone).

The difference is about the same as wondering whether Wigan Athletic might finish above Manchester United.

As long as these financial differences are as big as they are, I don't see anyone but Celtic claiming the title.
