Sahin is a very small guy. He weighs about 20 pounds less than M'Vila or Capoue. A physical presence would be nice.

I am trying not to get excited, but 13 million including wages would be really nice. I always liked Sahin from his days in BVB and harbored a desire to see him at Arsenal, much like many fans wanted Hazard to come. I was a bit upset that he left for Real Madrid and haven't followed him since.

But if we do manage to seal this deal, I would be very very excited. Sahin, Eisfeld following the path of Rosicky in coming to Arsenal (eventually) from BVB. Podolski, one of my favourite players since WC 2006 and Mertesacker also from 2006 - I am falling in love with Arsenal all over again with these signings of some of my favourite players in the last two summers.

Arsenal isn't a Spanish side. Arsenal plays in the Premier League. Sometimes a more physical sort of defensive midfielder comes in handy. Therefore I would not say that an M'Villa or a Capoue is not needed just because Sahin is apparently on his way.
