Haven't seen it yet but will do for sure. JG for me is the best actor atm. Absolutely love his movies, especially NightCrawler. Def agree he'll win an Oscar in the near future.

Yep, the base upgrades are really addictive, i'm more concentrated on doing that rather than main ops atm

ES, any idea what it means when after you complete a mission it isn't faded like you've finished it even though you have and it has the tick next to it? have a couple of those

also I finished mission 6 or 7 in Afghanistan ffs

Within each mission there are tasks, if you completely all the tasks then you 100%ed the mission, if you only did the main task (i.e. retrieve x) then you can still redo the mission i think (not sure, still haven't tried replaying any mission)

I might just start doing important side ops or if I'm low on cash tackle them then, been doing them all until now but there are so many and they're relatively generic

ES tho assuming you did the one where you have to 'rescue wandering mother base soldier'

I've stopped bothering with the side ops unless they look interesting now (which is one in ten)

unless you're going for trophies there's no point once you have 9-10 of the main missions under your belt, you make way more money and resources by just sending your soldiers out on contracts, so I'm just focusing on the main story missions now.

Just finished watching Peace Walker.

Holy shit man. Now i know why M99 loves Big Boss and that game.

Can't believe that a massive game like that was PSP only for so long. I always thought it was filler :facepalm:

Snake and The Boss' final scene is easily an all time great. The setting, music and their dialogues to each other. I wish there was a metal gear game based on The Boss. What a character.

I don't even blame Snake for becoming a villain. He killed someone who he worshipped and was like a mother figure to him. And then he found out that he killed someone who sacrificed her legacy to save the world. Must be the turning point in his life and the biggest shock ever for him. Even if he was sane in peace walker. Something must have happened in phantom pain to completely turn him.

He really was the greatest soldier to ever live in peace walker. Surpassed The Boss as well. Eventhough I still think Solid Snake is a better soldier, Big Boss is far more complex and deserved another game based on him.

ES don't know if you got it already but you can customize everything about your weapons, did some side ops missions that eventually unlocked it for me
