The thing with Koscielny is that if you play him in one match, then play him again after 2-3 weeks. He will be poor. Like error making poor.

If he plays 4-5 games in a row. He is World Class. Easily.

eventhough Mert is a great defender.. i still believe Mert may be suited more for more defensive teams outside PL..

Look at the games played this season.

Per Mertesacker 42 + 1
Thomas Vermaelen 35 + 4
Laurent Koscielny 28 + 5

Koscielny is a good defender when he plays regularly. Period.

Give credit where its due ffs.
